‘Terminator’ star Michael Biehn to feature in season two of ‘The Mandalorian’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Biehn, who played Kyle Reese in “Terminator” and Corporal Hicks in “Aliens”, will join the cast of season two of “The Mandalorian”, a series derived from the “Star Wars” universe.
Michael Biehn has not had such a prominent role in a high-profile project for more than a decade. The details of his character have yet to be fully disclosed, but the veteran actor known for his military roles is said to be playing a bounty hunter.
The second season of “The Mandalorian”, which will release on Disney+, will once again be helmed by Jon Favreau (“The Lion King”). It is expected to be available on the streaming platform in October.
Along with Michael Biehn, Rosario Dawson (“Daredevil”, “Jessica Jones”, “Luke Cage”) will also be in the cast for the space western.
Season one of “The Mandalorian” was set five years after the fall of the Empire (“The Return of the Jedi”) and 25 years before the emergence of the First Order (“The Force Awakens”). The story focuses on a lone bounty hunter, sent on a mission of great importance beyond the territories controlled by the New Republic.
