Lea Salonga’s North America tour moved to October, November
MANILA, Philippines — Tony-award winning actress and broadway star Lea Salonga is postponing her upcoming North American Tour in the wake of the health crisis brought about by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Lea, in a statement over Instagram on Thursday, said her tour will be rescheduled from its original dates in April and May to October and November this year.

“This decision has been made with the safety and well being of loyal fans and concert-going audiences in mind, at a time when our health services are strained and large gatherings risk accelerating the spread of Coronavirus,” she said.

“We are happy to have been able to quickly reschedule almost all of the dates to later this year,” she added.
She provided information on her rescheduled tour dates.
“For any questions reach out to the venue, your point of purchase or ticketing agency,” she said.
“Please be safe and stay healthy. Wash your hands, practice social distancing and check in with friends and loved ones who may need some extra support in the weeks ahead. I look forward to seeing you in fall,” Lea further said.
