Kris Aquino stays in Willie Revillame’s beach resort amid NCR lockdown

With Metro Manila under community quarantine due to the COVID-19 crisis, Filipinos are finding ways to best comply with the restrictions of the NCR lockdown.

Celebrities are not spared in this public health emergency, including Kris Aquino who has been in Boracay over the past week.

The TV host shared on Instagram yesterday, March 14 that she could not go straight home because the second floor of their home was being renovated. Aquino said they considered staying in Boracay, but she and her sons have medical needs.

She turned to a friend for help: Willie Revillame, who flew her and her kids via chopper to his beach resort in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.

Aquino shared pictures and videos of their trip that included a helicopter and yacht ride, as well as scenic views of fields and the beach.

She called the “Wowowin” host “a kindhearted, generous, and SPECIAL friend of ours.”

Aquino added, “[I] included shots of how beautiful our country is, para maalala nating mag TULUNGAN sa gitna ng pagsubok, magsuportahan, magpakatatag, sumunod sa mga pagpapahalaga sa KALUSUGAN ng LAHAT, magdasal para sa isa’t isa, at magmahalan.”

(I included shots of how beautiful our country is, so we can remember to help each other in the midst of trials, to support each other, to be strong, to follow in valuing everyone’s health, to pray for one another and to love each other.)

Aquino did not mention when she would return home. Land, domestic air and domestic sea travel to and from Metro Manila are suspended from March 15 to April 14 as part of the government’s measures in controlling the spread of the novel coronavirus. JB
