Carla Abellana recently reminisced about her days in the corporate world, when she was focused on human resources rather than memorizing scripts.

The actress posted on Sunday, March 8, a picture of her seated at a desk of the real estate development company where she was employed as an HR associate. The desk was not hers but rather belonged to a boss.

Abellana recalled, “My [s]upervisor, Mike, made me sit on our boss’ chair to take a picture. Future HR VP daw ako (He said I was a future HR VP).”

While climbing the corporate ladder would not be in the cards for her, at 23, Abellana would star as a lead in the 2009 telenovela remake of “Rosalinda.” She has stayed in show biz since, with teleseryes under her belt such as “My Husband’s Lover” and this year’s “Love of My Life.”
