Mario Maurer returning to Manila for fan meet in June
Thai actor Mario Maurer is heading back to the Philippines to hold a fan meet and greet at the Skydome in SM City North Edsa on June 28.
“Mabuhay! Ako po si (Long live! I am) Mario Maurer, and I’m so glad to announce that I’ll be having my first official solo fan meeting in Manila!” he said on his Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 25.

“This is very exciting for me because, finally, I will be seeing all the lovely faces of my dearest fans from the Philippines,” Maurer added.
“Sana makarating kayong lahat (I hope all of you can come)!” Maurer said. “I promise it will be a [worthwhile] evening for all of us. Mahal ko kayo (I love you).”
Article continues after this advertisementTickets for the event will be available from March 6 and start at P3,500. The fan meet is produced by Wish Us Luck, a Filipino company producing Thai events.
Article continues after this advertisementMaurer previously starred opposite Erich Gonzales in the 2012 romance film “Suddenly It’s Magic.” He also played leading roles in other Thai movies such as “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Love of Siam” and “Pee Mak.”
Maurer’s last visit to the country was in 2017 when he and K-pop star Sandara Park worked on an endorsement for a local shampoo brand. /ra
