Henry Cavill has been a gaming enthusiast and a “Witcher” fan long before he was cast as monster slayer Geralt of Rivia. But what does the gorgeous Man of Steel really like about Geralt?
“I find Gerald’s viewpoint of the world amusing—it has a dry comedy ring to it,” he told Inquirer Entertainment when we met him during his recent Manila visit. “And it doesn’t hurt that he’s also a nice guy. When you watch him, you know that this heart is very much in the right place.
“Geralt is this lethal machine, but he can also be a gentleman. He can be kind, but just because he’s kind doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not capable of great violence. I think that’s the contrast that makes this particular hero more fascinating.”
