Korina Sanchez celebrated the first birthday of her twins Pepe and Pilar with a party full of barn animals and farm-inspired decorations last Saturday, Feb. 15. They both turned one year old on Feb. 12.
The doting mother posted pictures of her two children in barn-themed outfits during the event, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 16.
Pepe was adorable in a red polo paired with denim overalls, black boots and a farmer’s hat. Pilar donned the same colors, wearing a denim blouse under a red plaid dress with black boots.
The siblings sat in a nook arranged to look like a farm, complete with stacks of hay and toys, and figures of barn animals such as chickens and sheep.
“Pepe en (and) Pilar had the best time yesterday in their birthday farm with all their new friends surrounded by people who love them,” Sanchez said.
Sanchez also joined her kids as they enjoyed the ball pit at the event. Sanchez matched the party’s theme with a denim jacket and a bandana around her neck.
“Super hit among the many farm activities was the Ball Pit,” she said in a separate post. “Pati kaming matatanda naki-swimming (Even us adults went swimming [in it]).”
“Pepe en (and) Pilar stayed sooo long in this!” Sanchez added. “Super GREAT idea for toddlers!”
The birthday celebrants also got to meet other babies such as Bazzy and Blanca, the kids of socialite Divine Lee and her husband Blake Go.
“Happy to see friends with their babies!” Sanchez said.
She then thanked the couple for flying in from Cebu to attend the party. Sanchez also noted that she and Lee “go back many, many years ago.”
Sanchez and Mar Roxas welcomed the twins who were born through gestational surrogacy in the United States last year. JB
