British alternative pop duo Oh Wonder will be performing once again in the Philippines on Sept. 6 as part of their “Wear Your Crown” world tour.
The tandem, consisting of Anthony West and Josephine Vander Gucht, revealed the itinerary of the second part of their world tour through Instagram on Feb. 3. Their Manila concert in September will be their fourth time to visit the country.
“Part 02 of the Wear Your Crown Tour is here! Keep your eyes peeled for more dates and info in the coming weeks,” the announcement read.
After taking a year-and-a-half break from going on tours, the duo noted just how “ridiculous” it felt to be on stage, and they shared their excitement for their tour this year.
“When you take 18 months off from touring, you forget what it’s like to be on stage. It is RIDICULOUS,” they said on Instagram yesterday, Feb. 7.
“You guys make us feel so alive Thank you for celebrating our new album with us. We made it for you. Beyond hyped for this year… WEAR YOUR CROWN TOUR 2020 COMIN’ ATCHA,” they added.
Starting in Vilnius, Lithuania, and ending in Tokyo, Japan, the second part of the “Happy” singers’ “Wear Your Crown” tour will run from July to September.
The last time they performed in Metro Manila was in December 2019, when they held fan meet shows at Eastwood City and Uptown Bonifacio. /ra
