The Las Vegas rock band announced the much-anticipated follow-up to 2017’s “Wonderful Wonderful” back in November.

More recently, The Killers shared took to Twitter to share a potential tracklist for their forthcoming sixth studio effort, which they captioned, “as easy as 1 2 3.”

On the list are songs such as “Dying Breed”, “Fire In Bone”, “When the Dreams Run Dry” and “Caution”, some of which also appeared on a previous potential tracklist that the band posted on Instagram last October.

Song titles “C’est La Vie”, “Spirit of Mystery”, “Party People” and “Just Can’t Quit” seem to have disappeared from the recently released lineup.

Details about “Imploding The Mirage” are still scarce, although frontman Brandon Flowers told New Musical Express in April that the full-length album will find the band experimenting with more synthetic sounds.

“We’ve been in Utah doing it. That’s where I fell in love with music for the first time; so it’s interesting to be there again and hear some of that music with the geography matching the sensation. Some of that stuff is starting to resurface and a lot of that had to do with synthesizer music. It’s always been part of our DNA but it’s definitely creeping up,” he explained.

While “Imploding The Mirage” is still in the works, The Killers released the politically-charged “Land Of The Free” earlier this year, in which they took a stand against President Donald Trump’s proposed border wall.

Next year, the band will tour the United Kingdom and Ireland in support of their forthcoming sixth album, with shows scheduled in Dublin, Manchester, Norwich, Southampton and London.

The tour will kick off on May 28, 2020 in Falkirk, Scotland, with Blossoms, Sam Fender and the Manic Street Preachers joining Flowers and his bandmates on stage at selected shows.

The Killers also confirmed appearances at Mad Cool, which runs July 8 to 11, 2020, and Bilbao BBK Live, running July 9 to 11, 2020, which they will headline alongside Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny. CL/JB
