Lolit to Lotlot after defending daughter Janine: ‘I know how you feel’
MANILA, Philippines — After coming to the defense of her daughter Janine Gutierrez for stating her opinion, Lotlot de Leon got an answer from Lolit Solis, saying that she “knows the feeling” of defending someone.

“I know iyon feeling ni Lotlot de Leon, Salve, sa IG post ko about Janine Gutierrez,” the known entertainment writer and talent manager said in an Instagram post on Saturday.

“Iyon exactly ang naging feeling ko nang mabasa ko ang bashing kay Bong Revilla after ng reaction ni Janine na ‘OMG at di ko kaya besh’,” she added.
(That’s exactly how I felt when I read the bashing to Bong Revilla after Janine’s reaction of “OMG”).
Solis was referring to Gutierrez’s reaction to the impending comeback of Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.’s to the boob tube.
Solis, who is Revilla’s talent manager, then slammed the actress for her comment. De Leon later defended her daughter, saying it was unfair she was judged for simply stating her opinion on Revilla’s TV comeback.

Solis said that she does not intend to belittle or dishonor Gutierrez, and quoted De Leon’s stepmother Sandy Andolong, who said the actress was raised kind and courteous.
She added that the negative comments she received were okay with her.
“I cannot be judgemental in the sense na ang dami ko rin palpak na ginawa, mga kasalanan, o mga bagay na dapat hindi ko ginawa,” Solit said. “If I write or opinionate, dahil writer ako, dahil iyon feeling ko, pero I find it out of bound kung kasamahan kong writer ang sisiraan ko.”
(I cannot be judgemental in the sense I made a lot of blows, sins, or things that I shouldn’t have done in the past. If I write or opinionate, because I’m a writer, because that’s what I feel. But I find it out of bound if I hit my fellow writer.)
“Kaya iyon din ang paniwala ko sa artista, puwede sila magalit sa writer, magsalita, pero pag kapwa nila artista dapat maingat sila,” she added.
(That is why that is also my belief towards artists. They can get mad at a writer, but they should be careful with their fellow artists.)
Solis went on to say that just like De Leon who was hurt for Gutierrez, she too was hurt for Revilla.
“But now, at least I know na never matatanggap ni Janine Gutierrez si Bong Revilla (But now, at least I know that Janine Gutierrez will never accept Bong Revilla). I respect that, I admire her for being open with her feelings,” Solis said.
