Lolit Solis slams Janine Gutierrez’s comment on Bong Revilla’s TV comeback
MANILA, Philippines — Talent manager Lolit Solis on Friday slammed actress Janine Gutierrez for her comment regarding Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.’s impending TV comeback.

“Siguro gusto ni Janine Gutierrez na mapansin ko siya Salve (I think Janine Gutierrez wants me to notice her),” Solis, who serves as Revilla’s talent manager, said in an Instagram post.
“The nerve na mag-negative comment siya sa TV comeback ni Bong Revilla,” she added.
“How can she be so cruel for a second chance to a co-actor like Bong without even thinking if not for the goodness of people she won’t be where she is today.”
Gutierrez earned the ire of Solis after the actress said: “Oh God” to a Twitter post about Revilla’s return to the small screen.
The senator will star in “Agimat ng Agila”, set to air on GMA Network in 2020.
“Dapat sa mga pagkakataon gusto niya magbigay opinyon, nandun ang pang-unawa at respeto, dahil kaibigan ng lolo niyang si Christopher de Leon si Bong Revilla,” Solis said.
(When it comes to sharing her opinion, she should be more understanding and respectful, considering that her grandfather Christopher De Leon is friends with Revilla.)
And although Solis said that she respects Gutierrez’s political beliefs, she added: “Pero sana inisip niya more than anyone else, siya dapat ang mas maging magaan sa pagbibigay chance sa isang tao na gusto bumalik sa pinanggalingan niyang mundo.
(She should’ve thought that more than anyone else, she should be more considerate on giving someone a chance to come back to the showbiz industry he belongs)
The talent manager went on, saying: “Buti na lang at hindi siya naging box office queen na sana makatulong para sa career ni Bong, dahil wala pa naman ako narinig na naging blockbuster movie niya, or TV show na naging sobra ang taas ng rating, kaya hindi din siya makakatulong sa career ni Bong Revilla.”
(It’s a good thing that Gutierrez is not a box office queen who could’ve helped help Bong in his career, because I haven’t heard a movie of hers that became a blockbuster, or a TV show that had high ratings, so that means she’ll be of no help to Bong Revilla’s career.)
Solis also wished Gutierrez a blooming love life so her heart will soften up.
“Love thy neighbor, dahil kundi sa kanila hindi ka naging Janine Gutierrez (Love thy neighbor, because if not for them, you wouldn’t be Janine Gutierrez today),” Solis said.
