MANILA, Philippines — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) will deploy 700 to 1,000 personnel to secure the route of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of the Stars this Sunday.

NCRPO acting director Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas said in a press briefing Friday that the police have coordinated with facilitators of the parade, which will be hosted by Taguig City and will feature floats carrying celebrities starring in official movie entries to the annual film festival.

“We have coordinated with the organizers para (so that) if they have any suggestions to enhance the security of the parade [we will know about it],” said Sinas.
