Hollywood actor Matt Damon was spotted in a resort in Tagaytay City last Monday, Dec. 2.

Filipino journalist Cheryl Tiu posted a photo of Damon with her father and his team at Tagaytay Highlands on Twitter on the same day.

Tiu said Damon had spent two nights at the resort after flying into Manila. She also told INQUIRER.net today, Dec. 4, that Damon was in the Philippines for his nonprofit organization Water.org, which he co-founded with a certain Gary White in 2009.

Damon is best known for portraying the titular role of Jason Bourne in the “Bourne” action-thriller films.

He also appeared in the 1998 war film “Saving Private Ryan”, and won an Academy Award for co-writing with Ben Affleck the screenplay of the film “Good Will Hunting” in 1997. His latest project was starring in the sports-drama movie “Ford v Ferrari” across Christian Bale. JB
