Frankie Pangilinan gets tulips with note: ’Sorry your president is shitty’

MANILA, Philippines — After Frankie Pangilinan refuted President Rodrigo Duterte’s claims involving her parents, the singer-songwriter received tulips with a note apologizing over a “shitty president.”

Frankie shared Monday a snapshot of white tulips over her Twitter account captioned “First snow + white tulips = happy kakie.”

The tulips had a note which read: “Sorry your president is shitty. Hope this cheers you up.”

Frankie posted this after she lashed out at the President who earlier claimed there was an ongoing feud between the singer-songwriter’s parents Megastar Sharon Cuneta and opposition Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.

During his speech at the celebration of Bonifacio Day last Saturday, Duterte said Cuneta wanted Pangilinan out of their house and said he would resign if he could be proven to be lying.

But Cuneta denied the President’s claim and assured fans her family and marriage “have never been happier.”
