Paolo Ballesteros took a trip down memory lane as he posted throwback pictures of him and actress Eula Valdes whom he calls “tita ninang.”

The actor, now 36, shared the faded sepia-colored pictures on Instagram last Thursday, Nov. 21. Valdes, now 50, can be seen carrying Ballesteros, who sported curly hair as a young child. According to him, the photos were taken in Cabanatuan.

The “Panti Sisters” star said the pictures were from Valdes herself. Both he and Valdes, who recently starred in the teleserye “The General’s Daughter,” are descendants of Fernando Amorsolo, Filipino national artist for visual arts, who is celebrated for his classical realist portraits.

Valdes herself makes oil paintings, while Ballesteros’ preferred canvas is his own face — he has been recognized for his spot-on imitations of female celebrities from Emma Watson to Solenn Heussaff. Last year, he took up resin painting with impressive results.  /ra
