‘Self-partnered’ Ryza Cenon flaunts ‘engagement’ ring as promise to love herself

Ryza Cenon has a sparkler on her ring finger—but not for the engagement announcement that you would expect.
The actress said that the custom ring is her way of saying “yes” to herself, according to her Instagram post today, Nov. 23. She dubs it the “self-love ring.”
“I said YES! to give my full commitment to love myself before I give my heart to a person,” she declared.
“And when the right one comes, I’ll transfer this ring to my other hand and accept the right one to the perfect hand. I’m engaged with myself. #selflovering #selfpartnered”

“Self-partnered” is a term British actress Emma Watson used to describe being single.
The ring’s band is made of gold with what looks like a round-cut diamond and a crescent above it. Dangling from the stone is an embossed gold plate that says “Ryza.”

Cenon confirmed to the Philippine Entertainment Portal in February that she had split with long-term boyfriend Pocholo Barretto.
It seems she is going with the flow of life as she reflected in an Instagram post yesterday about trust and patience. She said, “I believe that a trusting attitude and a patient attitude go hand in hand. You see, when you let go and learn to trust God, it releases joy in your life.” /ra
