Hollywood’s glamorous moms
Who says moms can’t be glamorous? Not (from left) Jessica Alba, Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Garner and Kate Hudson.
Jennifer Garner joined the 2019 recipient of the Baby2Baby Giving Tree Award and several other beautiful women and glamorous mothers at the award gala. Pretty in a pink floor-length gown, Garner posted on Instagram a photo of her, Teigen (in green) and two other former awardees, Jessica Alba (in white) and Kate Hudson (in gold).
Garner, the mother of three with ex-husband Ben Affleck, wrote “@Baby2Baby gets a lot of attention for glamorous women being glamorous at the yearly gala, but I am lucky enough to see the work up close, where glamour is not part of the picture.
“@NorahWeinstein and @KellySawyer lead the #Baby2Baby with intelligence, passion and hardcore mama love. First, it was collecting baby gear to be redistributed to moms in need—it wasn’t long before they were receiving millions of donated diapers, wipes, hygiene items, basic necessities, toys, clothes, shoes—and making them available to kids all over LA (Los Angeles). They quickly became @SavetheChildren’s go-to partner at disaster relief sites—sending all of these goods by the truckload for #SavetheChildren to distribute to families in crisis all over the country. One in three moms in this country chooses between diapering and feeding their children. Diapers matter. Wipes matter. Shoes and backpacks and books matter. Lifting any stressor off of a parent in need changes the game for that family—doing it with compassion and heart humanizes and lifts up parents who need it most. Chrissy Teigen, 2019 recipient of the Baby2Baby Giving Tree Award, made her own Instagram post: “Thank you @baby2baby for the incredible honor this weekend. I am so proud to support such a wonderful and impactful organization.”

The model and husband singer John Legend, who accompanied her to the ceremonies, have two children.
Baby2Baby copresidents Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, in announcing this year’s award recipient, said they “are so proud to announce Chrissy Teigen as our 2019 honoree for her commitment to children in need.”
They said, “Not only does she use her platform to shine a light on children living in poverty, but she walks the walk and has given back to Baby2Baby in every conceivable way, from providing financial support to donating her own children’s items to the kids in our program.”
