Multimedia artist Nadine Lustre dropped a new single with Filipino-American rapper Ruby Ibarra yesterday, Nov. 2. The single, “No 32”, is a mix of Lustre’s mellow R&B melodies accompanied by Ibarra’s on-point rapping.
The track talks about loyalty and a love that has “no redos or practice.” The lyrics reflect a stable and secure kind of love, as Lustre herself sings, “Yeah you know I’m the one, no three, two.”
The actress, who recently just turned 26, shared the music with her fans via Instagram. Lustre sat on the floor, lit up in virtual flames, while a snippet of her track played on the background.
“It’s such an honor @rubyibarra” she said, also posting the single’s cover art.
James Reid’s record label Careless Music Manila (CMM) produced the collaboration. CMM also shared a snippet of the track last night on Instagram, stating, “One time for the ladies!”
“No 32” is not Lustre’s first venture into music. The real-life couple JaDine released a collaboration of their own last January entitled, “Summer”. The song, which they posted on Instagram on Jan. 18, is a fresh take on a mischievous and adventurous kind of love that transcends the seasons.
“No 32” is now available in online music streaming platforms. JB
