Television host Kim Atienza was a proud father after taking his first flight on a plane that his son Jose piloted.
“First flight with Jose as my pilot,” the TV host said in his Instagram post last Sunday, Oct. 27.
“Mama and I shall forever be the wind beneath your wings son!” he added.
The proud father shared moments of him in the backseat of the airplane while Jose was steering the aircraft. They seemed to be accompanied by a higher-ranking pilot.
One Instagram user (@hershey_delrosario) asked Kim about his son’s journey into flight school, adding that her own son also wanted to pursue a career as a pilot.
The TV host said that Jose is currently a Grade 12 student and flew solo earlier this year at the age of 16. He added that Jose is now a certified pilot at 17 years old.
