Mendiola admitted it had been three years since she last did pole dancing and said, “Challenging siya but very empowering.”

FEATURED STORIES

Pole dancing is no ordinary dance or sport as it includes acrobatics and a mix of strength, grace and sultriness, sometimes even with sky-high heels. For the choreography, the music chosen was the steamy single “Señorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.

Both Mendiola and Chang openly expressed how difficult it could get, with Mendiola stating she could feel her thighs burning after they had to hold on to the pole with their legs.

She was all praises for the dance, sharing that it showed the “best of all worlds”: “Empowering siya, you get fit, sumasayaw ka (It is empowering, you get fit, you are dancing).”

The finale was the sensual choreography that the three women had worked hard on, which they performed in matching red mesh costumes and fishnet stockings.  /ra
