Amid a rumored feud with Dani Barretto, Bela Padilla paid a visit to her over the weekend to see Barretto’s newborn baby.
It seems the two friends remain close as ever as Padilla bonded last Saturday, Oct. 5, with baby Millie, Barretto’s first child with her husband, Xavi Panlilio. Millie was born on Sept. 13.
The vlogger shared a picture of Padilla holding Millie in her arms on Instagram Stories and wrote, “This photo makes my heart so happy.”

The “Day after Valentine’s” actress posted pictures of the baby on her own Instagram, announcing that she has her own nickname for the child: Milliephant.

She promised: “You can count on me to buy you the candy that your mom and dad say you can’t have hahaha.”
Panlilio admitted he wished he thought of the nickname first: “A part of me is mad that your nickname for my daughter is better than my nickname for her. But [I’m] happy that it was [you] who thought of such a good one.”
“So happy you two finally met!! Love you Belyy!” Barretto commented.
The sweet reunion comes after rumors that Padilla and Barretto were not on good terms because they unfollowed each other on Instagram. There were speculations that the spat was connected to Padilla’s supposedly taking sides in Julia Barretto’s feud with Bea Alonzo.
Padilla told the Philippine Entertainment Portal on Friday, Oct. 4, that she and her BFF simply had a “misunderstanding.”
“Like in any kind of relationship, we go through things. But Dani and I are OK,” she said in the interview. She said she unfollowed Barretto because fans told her that she had been unfollowed by her friend.
She clarified, “But there’s nothing big happening, and it’s so totally unrelated to whatever issue her and her family [were] going through.” /ra
