MANILA, Philippines – Actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga has set the record straight after entertainment columnist Lolit Solis claimed that she snubbed GMA actors Ken Chan and Rita Daniela.
Solis took to Instagram on Monday to express dismay after Gonzaga supposedly ignored the onscreen partners when they approached her at an airport.
“Ang kuwento nagkasabay sila sa airport at nilapitan ni Ken at Rita si Alex Gonzaga at sinabing fan sila ng vlog site nito. Tumango lang daw si Alex at parang dedma. Wow. Snob? Big star?” Solis wrote.

Alex commented on Solis’ post, and clarified that she actually shook hands with the GMA artists.

“Ayyy nanay lolit, di po tayo magkakilala pero sino po source nyo mukhang mali ata kasi nagkamayan at nag-hi pa po kami sa isat isa at lahat ng iba pang GMA artists sa lounge,” Gonzaga said.
(“We do not know each other but may I ask who your source is because I think he or she got it wrong. We actually shook hands and greeted each other, as well as other GMA artists in the lounge,” Gonzaga said.)
“Niretweet ko pa si Ken noon dahil nagchambe chambe sya (I even retweeted Ken’s tweet at the time because he did the ‘Chambe’ challenge),” Gonzaga added, referring to her viral song “Chambe” which became a popular online challenge.
“Lastly Salamat po sa mga salita nyo tungkol sakin ah, heartwarming,” Gonzaga further said. /gsg
