Ethel Booba expressed that she now gets discouraged to guest on TV shows because some programs she has appeared on have not paid her yet.

She cited that one show has not compensated her for almost a year already, while another has not paid her for more than five months, as per her Twitter post yesterday, Sept. 22.

“Di mo kayang mag name drop ng show mamah (You cannot name drop the show, mama)?” Twitter user @SteffiLicheon asked.

Ethel then disclosed that one of the programs she was pertaining to was the game show “Minute To Win It”.

“Ilang minutes ako nag-antay sa bangko wala pa din pala eh mag 1 year na. Charot!” she added.

(I waited in the bank for how many minutes [but] to no avail. It has almost been one year already.)

Luiz Manzano, host of the said show, took notice of Ethel’s tweet.

“Pa check ko Ethel (I will have it checked, Ethel)!” he replied today, Sept. 23. Ethel thanked Manzano for offering to help.

The comedienne also clarified that she was only pertaining to “Minute To Win It” and not ABS-CBN, the network it appeared on, after one @poisanz123 pointed out how she used to defend the said network.

“Even ibang network naman may show sila na may problem minsan pag iissue na payment. Charot!” she added.

(Even other networks have shows that have problems with issuing payment at times.)

Meanwhile, one @BhebeJZ, said he hopes that Ethel was not referring to Vice Ganda’s show, “Gandang Gabi Vice” (GGV) in her tweet yesterday.

“Actually may guesting pa ako sa GGV na di pa din nabibigay ang TF until now. Charot!” Ethel responded.

(Actually I have a guesting on GGV that still has not given me my talent fee until now.) JB
