LISTEN: Drake releases new single ‘Behind Barz’

Canadian rapper Drake unveiled a new single recently, taken from the soundtrack of the Netflix reboot of the British series “Top Boy”.
Pitchfork reports that the track came out of a freestyle back in 2018 on British channel Link Up TV’s show “Behind Bars”.
Canceled in 2013 after two seasons on United Kingdom’s Channel 4, “Top Boy”, of which Drake has long been a fan, follows the daily life of a group of young British drug dealers.
After a six-year absence, the series returned to Netflix last Friday, Sept. 13, with a third clutch of episodes. RGA/JB
