Kim Kardashian teases Kanye West’s new album out this September

On August 29, Kim Kardashian West tweeted a photo announcing that Kanye West’s new album, “Jesus is King,” will arrive in September.
The photo shows a notebook with the title “Jesus is King” written in black ink, alongside 12 possible Christian-themed song titles.
Among them are “God Is,” “Baptized,” “Through the Valley” and “Water,” which West previously premiered at his Sunday Service performance at Coachella earlier this year.
The cryptic post also shows a Bible opened to Psalm 57:6, as well as a yellow notepad with handwritten Bible verses, a flashlight and a jar of sliced lemons.

The proposed date on the notepad for “Jesus is King,” which would follow West’s 2018 “ye,” is September 27.
Last year, Kim Kardashian West announced the release of West’s highly anticipated “Yandhi” on November 23, or Black Friday.
West later announced that the full-length album had been pushed back to an indefinite release date, tweeting “I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet.”
“I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding,” he added.

More recently, a cache of unfinished songs by the Chicago artist from his “Yandhi” sessions leaked online.
G.O.O.D Music President and West’s longtime collaborator Pusha-T told Rolling Stone that these leaks affect the release plans they have in place.
“That’s something that comes along with the fanatic-ness of what we built as a brand in G.O.O.D. Music. People are super eager. Sometimes it’s eager fans, sometimes it’s people who just are unethical […]. So when things like leaks happen, I feel like the only person that’s honestly getting cheated is the fan,” he said.
Apart from his Sunday Services, West has been fairly quiet since he released five albums that he produced during G.O.O.D Music’s five-week rollout.
He recently collaborated with a slew of artists, including Tyler, the Creator for “Puppet,” YNW Melly for “Mixed Personalities,” Lil Pump for “I Love It,” and Pusha-T for “Sociopath.”
