Kris Aquino and her two sons Josh and Bimby jetted off to Boracay recently, where they lounged and bonded on the island’s shores.
“Thank you for all your Boracay Travel Tips… time to make memories with kuya josh & bimb,” Aquino said in her Instagram post last Thursday, Aug. 22.
The Queen of All Media previously revealed that their trip to the island is to help take their minds off the cancelation of Aquino’s entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.
Brothers Josh and Bimby tried out jet skiing along the nearby waters. Bimby also had the chance to steer a jet ski with his older sibling as his passenger, as seen in the series of photos and videos Aquino posted on her Instagram page on Friday, Aug. 23.
The vacation seemed to help Aquino keep her mind off recent challenges, as she could not help but gush over her sons.
“Thank God, because of my 2 precious reasons to be HAPPY, i’m strong enough, healed enough, and wala nang pakialam (no more care) enough to be able to choose- I FORGOT YOU EXISTED,” she said, citing a song by Taylor Swift.
She then advised her fans followers that whatever problems they may be facing, time will help them overcome these.
The family also sat down with friends for a festive dinner by the beach, as seen in Aquino’s vlog on YouTube on Monday, Aug. 26.
Their dinner featured a boodle-fight styled platter which included lapu-lapu, squid, chicken and fresh lumpia, among others. Aquino called it “The Boodle of All Boodles.”
After their little feast, the trio took a short walk. While holding the hands of her two sons, Aquino joked, saying “When I look at the two of you, I wonder how tiny me was able to come up with big you and bigger you.”
Aquino also expressed her gratefulness, as she showed the beautiful tones of pink, orange and purple of the sunset in Boracay. She shared the moment on her Instagram page last Monday. JB
