Maja says rift with Kim settled even while she was dating Gerald

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Maja Salvador ended speculations hounding her friendship with Kim Chiu, saying it was restored even while she was still dating actor Gerald Anderson.
“Kami po ni Kim, ang tagal na po naming okay. Sobrang tagal na. Naging okay kami ni Kim, kami pa ni Gerald non,” Salvador said in an interview with “Tonight With Boy Abunda” aired Monday.
Salvador thinks they both had a mutual choice not to announce via social media how they reconciled.
“I think parehas namin choice na hindi i-announce o i-post sa social media kung ano man ‘yung mga napagusapan namin or bakit kami naging okay,” Salvador said.
Article continues after this advertisement“We need to save our friendship. Para ma-save ‘yun, kailangan ng katahimikan. Dahil importante ‘yung dalawang kaibigan nag-uusap at nagkakaintindihan nang kaming dalawa lang,” she added.
Article continues after this advertisementTo recall, the two actresses had a falling out back in 2013 when news broke that Chiu’s then ex-boyfriend Anderson and Salvador were dating.
But Chiu and Salvador reportedly managed to reconcile a year after. /kga
