LOOK: Maritoni Fernandez goes shoe shopping, food tripping with daughter and mom

Actress Maritoni Fernandez recently jetted off to Bangkok, Thailand for some quality time with her daughter Lexi and mother Luth.

“Off to Bangkok for some food, shopping and bonding with my fave ladies. 3 [generations] of Fernandez’s,” she said in her Instagram post last Thursday, Aug. 15.

The three women arrived in Bangkok later the same day. Their first order of business was to taste some delicious Thai cuisine.

As per Fernandez’s mother’s request, they enjoyed a large lobster as their first dish in the city.

“Best ever…it was even pregnant so we had the eggs! So YUMMY!” the actress stated.

The trio then went off to go shoe shopping, which Fernandez considers a staple activity for anyone visiting Bangkok.

“You can’t go to Bangkok and not buy shoes! So much fun! So mura!!!! Score!” Fernandez said as they posed in a shoe store.

The actress later revealed that her mother lived in Bangkok for 10 years, and that she is fluent in Thai.

“One of her first jobs here was as a tourist guide so we wanted her to see how much the city has changed since by taking her on the ‘Hop on Hop off’ bus,” she said. “And enjoy being the tourist instead, in the city she grew up in and knew so well.”

“This is also where she met my Dad so it’s come full circle for her,” Fernandez added.

They also did not miss the opportunity to visit the largest market in Thailand, the Chatuchak Weekend Market. The said shopping venue is one of many night markets that Bangkok is well-known for.

After another day filled with shopping, the trio slowed down by enjoying a foot massage. Fernandez shared the moment on her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 17.

Fernandez’s latest showbiz endeavors have been in TV programs by GMA. She was part of the cast of the 2018 action-fantasy series “Victor Magtanggol”, which starred Alden Richards. JB
