Lesson learned–and unlearned–by pig-headed actress
Remember Gargantuan Egghead (GE), the actress who couldn’t be bothered to hobnob with the hoi polloi? Her sense of entitlement and bad attitude are the stuff of legend.
Kooky Kibitzer (KK) couldn’t forget an incident she once witnessed during the taping of a now-defunct teleserye that GE starred in.
The character GE portrayed in the drama series was supposed to be simple and impoverished, but she insisted to look glitzy and all glammed up by wearing the curls, weaves and waves she’s often seen with in her splashy pictorials.
But when GE’s irate director got wind of her unrelenting vanity and stubbornness, he confronted her, screamed at her and repeatedly ordered, “Tanggalin mo ’yan (take that off), or else…!” before storming off the set. GE was so shocked she could only cry. Apparently, it’s one lesson learned—and quickly unlearned!
