MANILA, Philippines — What better way to shut down critics than by showing confidence and posting a selfie?
This was how Dani Barretto responded to negative comments about her looks that she has recently been receiving.
“‘Eh kasi naman Dani girl, bakit ka ba kasi sumasali sa away ng magaganda eh napaka panget mo at pinakasalan ka lang naman kasi na buntis ka. Next time kasi quiet ka nalang. Yan tuloy nababash ka,’” Dani captioned an Instagram post on Friday, seemingly mocking the netizens’ comments about her.
“Oh gulat kayo memorize ko na kayo noh? HAHAHA. Oh ito, mainis kayo lalo sa maganda kong mukha,” Dani said.
“You do note meeeeee,” she added, referencing a famous meme that originated from noontime series “Kadenang Ginto.”
Dani was subjected to online criticism after she defended her sister Julia from the recent controversy she was involved in.
