‘Ang Probinsyano’ airs 1000th episode today
The long-running TV series “Ang Probinsyano” is set to air its 1000th episode today, Aug. 8.
Coco Martin, who top-bills the crime-drama series, expressed his thanks to the show’s fans for their support, as seen in Dreamscape’s Instagram post today, Aug. 8.

“Sa lahat po ng hanggang ngayon ay sumusubaybay at nanonood po ng ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ kami po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa inyo,” Martin said.

He also thanked everyone behind the production of the series, from the crew to the artists.

Other cast members of the series also took the time to mark the occasion on their social media accounts. Michael de Mesa, Bianca Manalo and John Prats were among the actors who shared their thanks to their fans and followers.

The crime series premiered in September 2015. It is based on a 1997 film of the same title, starring the late action star and “King of Philippine Movies” Fernando Poe, Jr., about a provincial cop who assumes the identity of his twin brother killed in a drug bust operation.
“Ang Probinsyano” airs Monday to Friday in ABS-CBN after “TV Patrol”. JB
