Melanie Marquez’s daughter Michelle Dee vies for Miss World Philippines 2019 title
Michelle Dee proves she takes after her mother, former beauty queen Melanie Marquez, as she joins the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2019.
Dee introduced herself as an official candidate for the Miss World Philippines title via Instagram, last Monday, Aug. 5. Her post was accompanied by a photo of herself in a sleek, full-length white dress.

“I’m officially candidate #21 for #MWP2019,” Dee said. “Today marks Day 1 of my @msworldphil journey.”
“I just wanted to thank everyone for your unending support. It truly means the world to me. I hope i make all of you proud,” she added.
Miss World Philippines also revealed Dee’s pageant bid on its official Instagram page last Sunday, Aug. 4.

Dee’s involvement in the pageant adds her to the roster of celebrities who have vied for the Miss World Philippines title, including Megan Young, Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez and Katarina Rodriguez. /ra
