Gretchen Barretto claims Julia Barretto’s statement penned by ghostwriter

MANILA, Philippines — Gretchen Barretto made a bold statement by claiming Julia Barretto’s camp hired a ghostwriter for the latter’s statement.

A certain account reposted via Instagram Julia’s statement regarding the controversy hounding her, Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson.

“Wrong move Julia! Di [kami] bumilib jan sa official statement mo! Mas lalo kang naging guilty at nuknukan ng NEGA jan! Ewan ko sayo! Team @beaalonzo all the way!” one netizen commented.

Julia’s aunt Gretchen surprisingly chimed in the comment section and replied to the netizen saying, “TEAM BEA FOR THE WIN.”

“THE FACT THAT THEY HIRED A GHOST WRITER FOR THIS POST IS HILARIOUS & MAKES HER SOUND DESPERATE TO SALVAGE WHATEVER IS LEFT,” Gretchen added.

This is not the first time Gretchen expressed support for Alonzo amid the controversy as she previously sent the actress a pot of orchids.

Meanwhile, Julia earlier addressed the issue and said Alonzo’s cryptic post supposedly led everybody to “destroy” her.

Julia and Anderson became a subject of speculation following Alonzo’s cryptic post hinting betrayal.

This was after a netizen posted photos of Barretto and Anderson supposedly taken at the birthday party of a fellow actor.
