Boozy beauty no-show at her own party
It was like attending a party without its own host. All the merrymakers were there, except Contumacious Celeb (CC)—whose conspicuous absence, even in the days leading to the splashy celebration, didn’t go unnoticed by clueless revelers.
CC’s entourage insisted that she was recuperating from a medical condition and was too sick to mingle with the commoners. But just days before the big event, CC was seen by a not-so-little-birdy (NSLB) in an after-office joint.
The “sickly” maiden wasn’t easily recognized, but since the guy she was having a happy and boozy good time with was Mister Jock (MJ), her current squeeze, it wasn’t so hard to eventually put two and two together—and CC certainly didn’t look ill!
NSLB’s pals weren’t really surprised about this development—after all, MJ is known in Tinseltown for his party-loving ways.
The big question is: How did CC get away with the “unconventional” vanishing act—and why was she allowed to get off the hook so easily?
