MANILA, Philippines — Actor Joshua Garcia admitted he is hurting for former girlfriend Julia Barretto who has been recently involved in a controversy with Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.
While he feels hurt for Barretto, Garcia said he believes the actress can overcome the allegations hounding her.
“Syempre, naging karelasyon ko rin si Julia. Nasasaktan ako for her, sa nangyayari. Pero I think makakabangon naman siya,” Garcia said Thursday in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
The 21-year-old actor refused to give comment when asked if he believes in the allegations linking Barretto to Anderson.
“Hindi ko masasagot yan e. Siguro lahat naman ng tao may kanya kanyang opinion about sa nangyaring issue,” Garcia said.
Garcia did not fail to show support to Barretto as he gave words of encouragement to the actress amid the controversy.
“Malalampasan mo ‘yan. I know you, you’re the strongest girl na nakilala ko. Takot nga ako sa iyo eh,” Garcia’s message to Barretto read, as shared by the latter over her Instagram account.
