Chito Miranda on Neri Naig as a wife: ‘Gave me a reason na magpakatino’
While being married for over four years now, Chito Miranda still could not believe that actress-entrepreneur Neri Naig is his wife. Miranda reflected on how Naig changed his life for the better, even without demands from her for him to change.
The “Parokya ni Edgar” frontman expressed all these for Naig, as per his Instagram post yesterday, July 29. Miranda’s post was accompanied by a sultry photograph of Naig.

“Akalain mong patay na patay sa akin ‘tong magandang babae na ‘to,” Miranda said. “Kahit ako hindi makapaniwala eh hehe!”
(Would you believe that this beautiful woman is madly in love with me? I could not believe it either.)
“Una, hindi naman ako pogi. Pangalawa, mas successful naman siya kesa sa akin,” Miranda said. “Mabisa lang talaga siguro yung gayuma na ginamit ko at sobrang tibay ng helmet na suot nya hahaha!”
(First, I am not even handsome. Second, she is more successful than me. I guess my charm is very irresistible and the helmet she is wearing is indestructible.)
The singer then described how Naig expresses her care and affection.
“Palagi syang nakasiksik sa akin na parang bata. Sya pa yung nagagalit pag hindi mahaba yung paghalik ko sa kanya tuwing aalis ako,” Miranda said.
(She always stays close to me like a child. She even gets mad if I do not kiss her long enough every time I leave.)
“Gusto nya sobrang spoiled at todo alaga ako sa kanya. Gusto nya palaging nakahanda na yung breakfast ko pagkagising ko and she [lets] me sleep as long as I want,” he added. “She makes sure na hassle-free ang buhay ko at ayaw na ayaw nya na nase-stress ako. She makes sure that I always drink my vitamins.”
(She wants me to be spoiled and she cares a lot for me. She makes sure that my breakfast is already prepared every time I wake up, and she lets me sleep for as long as I want. She makes sure that my life is hassle-free and she does not want me stressed. She makes sure that I always drink my vitamins.)
“I’ve never been this healthy and relaxed my whole adult life. Steady, happy, and content,” Miranda gushed.
“I’ve always been reckless and aminado ako na g*go ako dati, but Neri never asked me to change,” he said. “She just gave me a reason na magpakatino kasi ayoko masayang kung [ano] meron kami ngayon.”
(I have always been reckless and I admit that I used to be a jerk, but Neri never asked me to change. She just gave me a reason to change for the better because I do not want to waste what we have now.)
