Real-life sweethearts, actors Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez, took a “short but sweet” romantic vacation at a posh boutique hotel recently in Phuket, Thailand.

The couple witnessed breathtaking views overlooking the ocean, while wrapped in an embrace, as per Abellana’s Instagram post yesterday, July 28.

According to Abellana, it “was quite a long trip” to Thailand, since she traveled right after taping. Despite having barely enough sleep, she thought the trip was worth it.

In another moment, Rodriguez captured Abellana in a red maxi dress while walking around the hotel grounds.

“What a beautiful and magical HIDEAWAY! The first step into this paradise instantly washes away any hint of stress from the outside world,” Rodriguez said.

The couple’s relaxing vacation did not stop there as they took a dip at the hotel pool, as seen in Rodriguez’s Instagram Stories today.

Abellana also expressed her excitement for her aqua spa appointment while showing the hotel’s lush green surroundings to fans.

Abellana and Rodriguez have been together as a couple since 2014. They were co-stars in the TV series “My Husband’s Lover” and “My Destiny”. JB
