“Good morning. Today na po ang operation ni Mama Bob para sa replacement ng pacemaker niya sa puso, after 10 years,” Quinto said via Twitter last Saturday, July 20.

(Mama Bob’s operation for the replacement of the pacemaker in her heart, after 10 years, is today.)

“Sana po isama niyo ang Mama Bob ko sa mga prayers niyo pati rin po ang mga Doctors. Maraming Salamat po,” she added.

(I hope you include my Mama Bob in your prayers, as well as the doctors. Many thanks.)

As per the American Heart Association, a pacemaker is a small battery-operated device which helps the heart beat in a regular rhythm. The surgery appeared to be successful as Quinto later shared a moment where she stood by the bedside of her Mama Bob. The image was accompanied by a message of praise, posted via Instagram Stories yesterday, July 21.

Quinto also posed for a photo with a certain Nanay Rosario and Ate Tina, together with Mama Bob.

“Sa pangalawang Nanay at Ate ko, maraming salamat Nanay Rosario at Ate Tina sa pagbisita po kay Mama Bob salamat po sainyo. Mahal na mahal ko po kayo,” the singer said.

(To my second mother and older sister, many thanks Nanay Rosario and Ate Tina for visiting Mama Bob, thank you. I love you so much.)

Mama Bob is the sister of Quinto’s biological father. Quinto only met her biological mother in 2012. JB
