Phillip Salvador warns Duterte critics ahead of Sona: ‘Mamatay kayong lahat’

PHILLIP Salvador

MANILA, Philippines — “Mamatay kayong lahat.”

Actor Phillip Salvador, an avid supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, issued this stern warning against the latter’s critics a few hours before the chief executive delivers his fourth State of the Nation Address (Sona) on Monday.

“Simple lang, ginagawa naman ng Pangulo natin ang lahat para sa ikabubuti ng bansa, para sa ikabubuti ng bawat Pilipino pero binabatikos pa rin siya,” Salvador told reporters when he was asked what he is expecting the President would mention during his Sona.

“Sa inyo pong lahat na bumabatikos. Mamatay kayong lahat. Salamat po,” he further said.

‘Three musketeers’

Salvador arrived with actor Robin Padilla and comedian Bayani Agbayani at the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.

“Kasi kami po ang three musketeers. Pinaglalaban namin siyempre yung tama. Feeling lang namin yun ah, ibigay niyo na sa amin,” Padilla told reporters, noting their matching barong tagalog outfits.

Asked if Padilla would be more active in showing support for the President, he said: Yes, I will serve my king.
