LOOK: LJ Reyes holds ‘adventurous’ birthday party for son Ethan Akio
LJ Reyes organized an action-packed, all-day celebration for her son Ethan Akio’s 9th birthday, at a popular theme park in Santa Rosa, Laguna on Saturday, July 20.
“All we wanted for him was to enjoy a full day with the family — most especially with his ‘best cousins’ (his cousins but they treat each other as best of friends!)” she explained, as per her Instagram post yesterday, July 21. “And since this boy is starting to become more and more adventurous, we booked a day at Enchanted Kingdom.”

“We thought the kids will definitely love it but now we all — adults and kids can’t get enough of EK that we are already planning our trip back,” Reyes added.
The actress also cited Ethan’s favorite parts of the party.

Reyes spoke about Ethan loving Laser Mission, where he “even became a champ with a record of 23 seconds.” A moment of Ethan playing at the attraction was captured in a video posted on her Instagram Stories on the same day.

Ethan even took several rides at the Rio Grande despite already being “soaking wet.”

Ethan’s adventure-filled celebration did not stop there as he enjoyed playing skills games, where “he got to play the old school ‘perya’ games and win prizes for himself and for his sister.”
Reyes then gushed about Ethan expressing his happiness and gratitude.
“My favorite part of the whole day is when he said ‘I’m so happy mom! Thank you! Thank you to [Paolo Contis]! It’s a super happy day,’” she said. “I may not have that caught on camera, but it will forever be etched in my heart, stored in my memory!”
