Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez have been paired up for their first movie together.
The actors from rival networks will work in T-Rex Entertainment’s new project “If We Don’t Make It,” the indie production company announced on Tuesday, July 9. The story involves “two people who are more than friends but less than lovers.”
During the press conference in Quezon City, the two actors posed together, with Gutierrez in a denim dress and Avelino in a black outfit, sporting shoulder-length hair.
The film is written by Jen Chuaunsu and directed by Prime Cruz, who both worked together on “Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B” and “Can We Still Be Friends?”
Gutierrez and Avelino are the latest in ABS-CBN and GMA’s recent crossover team-ups. Major pairings this year have included Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards in “Hello, Love, Goodbye” and Maine Mendoza and Carlo Aquino in “Isa Pa with Feelings.” /ra
