LOOK: Andrea Brillantes scolds Marga for slapping Mikoy in ‘Kadenang Ginto’
Andrea Brillantes, who plays the role of Marga Bartolome in the hit TV series “Kadenang Ginto”, reprimanded her character for giving co-star Seth Fedelin (who plays Mikoy) a hard slap on the cheek in an episode which aired yesterday, July 10.
To cover up her knowledge that Mikoy is poor, Marga slapped him in front of her friends after they found out that he studies in Maxwell Integrated School, a school for the less fortunate.
Brillantes called out Marga for hurting Mikoy, as per her Instagram post on the same day. The post showed Brillantes treating Fedelin’s cheek with an ice pack.

“Have you seen today’s episode?? Sorry na daw act lang naman daw yun sabi ni Marga,” Brillantes said. “[P]ag sasabihan ko yung babaeng yun.”
(Have you seen today’s episode? Sorry, it was just an act, Marga said. I will scold that woman.)
Jojo Saguin, one of the TV series’ directors, teased Brillantes for her portrayal.
“Sabi ko sampal lang pero bakit may marka? Bad marga,” Saguin said.
(I said just slap [Fedelin], but why is there a mark? Bad Marga.)

Brillantes responded to Saguin, saying she did not go all the way in slapping Fedelin. “hindi ko na nga tinodo direk sobrang ingat na nga ako nun.”
(I did not go all the way direk, I was really being careful at that time.)
