Matteo Guidicelli says scout ranger course his ‘best experience’ in life
MANILA, Philippines — For actor-model Matteo Guidicelli, undergoing the scout ranger training is the “best experience” of his life.
“Ranger G – Lessons, experiences, struggles, challenges, emotions. Difficult to explain. But what I can say is that it has been the best experience of my life,” Guidicelli said Friday in an Instagram post.
The 29-year-old actor completed his month-long Leadership Development and Scout Ranger Orientation Course at Camp Tecson in San Miguel, Bulacan on Thursday.
He received commendation for his participation in clean-up drives in schools and a special award for topping his class with a 95.2 percent grade.
“‘Take and take.’ ‘One day at a time.’ And everything will be okay. God bless our soldiers and their families. Unity is the only solution to be a great nation, let’s do it,” Guidicelli said.
Guidicelli joined the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as a reservist last April and started his scout ranger training last May 27.
“I officially joined the Philippine ARMY today because I love my country,” Guidicelli said in a previous post.
Prior to joining the army, he also took his oath as a member of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary alongside Erwan Heussaff and Nico Bolzico.
