MANILA, Philippines — One of GMA-7’s top actors Alden Richards set foot in the network’s rival ABS-CBN to promote his anticipated movie with Kathryn Bernardo “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”
“Medyo surreal na nandito ako ngayon sa ABS [CBN],” Richards said in a behind-the-scenes footage posted by Star Cinema Wednesday.
“Welcome po, Kapuso,” a laughing Bernardo told Richards.
Apart from being welcomed by Bernardo, Richards was also greeted by ABS-CBN executives including head of Star Cinema Olivia Lamasan.
The almost four-minute video also showed the fresh tandem in a series of challenges and interviews as part of the digital promotion of “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”
The project is the first team-up of Bernardo and Richards, who belong to rival networks and popular love teams.
Bernardo is half of “KathNiel” with Daniel Padilla, while Richards is half of “AlDub” with Maine Mendoza.
The film helmed by Cathy Garcia-Molina will premiere in cinemas on July 31, 2019. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
