Lea Salonga approves of Lee Sung-kyung’s ‘A Whole New World’ cover

MANILA, Philippines — Little do some people know that Korean actress-model Lee Sung-kyung is also a great singer and no less than Lea Salonga has complimented her vocals.

The Tony award-winning actress reposted on Thursday a clip of Lee singing the Disney hit “A Whole New World.”

“This is so adorable!!!!!!!! Isn’t she a Disney Princess?” Salonga captioned the video, while also tagging Lee’s Instagram account @heybiblee.

Salonga is the original voice of Princess Jasmine in Disney’s 1992 animated film “Aladdin.”

Even KC Concepcion and Jed Madela complimented the Korean actress, saying she’s “pretty good” and “cute.”

Lee is most known for her first titular role in Korean series “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo” in 2016.
