Actress Angelica Panganiban called out telecommunications company Sky Cable after one month of waiting to have WiFi installed at her home.

“Hi @SKYserves one month na po…,” Panganiban said via Twitter on June 20. “Hindi niyo pa rin ako sinisipot? Ano ito? Drawing? Kailangan umabot sa Twitter?”

Panganiban also shared it was tiring to set a schedule with the company and wait, only to have nobody come to her house.

“Nakakapagod mag pa schedule at maghintay sa kanila. Tapos walang darating na tao. Anokayayun? Bat pa nag pa sched. One month na eh.”

(It’s tiring to set a schedule and wait for them, only to have nobody arrive. What is that about? Why did they ask me to set a schedule? It has already been one month.)

Panganiban’s tweets caught the attention of Sky Cable, which apologized to her for the inconvenience and asked her to send them a direct message to discuss things further.

“Our apologies for the inconvenience,” the company said. “Please DM us your account details so we can further assist you. Thank you.”

But it seems Panganiban was not having any of it and continued to tweet, saying she has already paid P8,000 to Sky Cable.

“Sana yung susunod na mga tweets natin nagpasalamat na tayo sa @SKYserves. Sana magising ako sa doorbell nila. Yung, tinupad na nila mga pangako nilang mag install ng wifi,” she said. “Para sulit naman yung binabayaran ko. 8thousand na po ang lumipad mga tita sa SKY! Kalerks na po.”

(I hope in our next tweets it will be us thanking @SKYServes. I hope I’ll wake up to the sound of them ringing my doorbell, that they’ll finally keep their promise to install WiFi, so I will feel that I am getting what I am paying for. I already spent P8,000 on SKY Cable. This is driving me crazy.)

She also asked for a refund and told the company to do their job.

“Una, gusto ko ng 2 month refund,” she said. “Pangalawa, mag trabaho kayo. Kaya po ba (First, I want a 2-month refund. Second, do your job. Can you do that)?”

The company told Panganiban a rebate would be in order once she gives her account details to them, and assured her they were doing everything they could to attend to customers’ concerns.

“Yes, we can make necessary rebate once you hand over to us your account details, Ms. Angelica,” SKY Cable (@SKYserves) replied. “Be also assured that we are doing our best to ensure that each and every concern of our customers is accommodated.”

In the end, Panganiban made light of the situation, telling her fans her love life was on the way, but that SKY Cable still wasn’t. She also shared a photo of her being made up by a stylist, quipping she was beautiful, but did not have internet.  /ra
