Spotlight-hogging heartthrob offended by lukewarm reception
Publicity-hungry Performer (PP) was dismayed by the lukewarm reception he received at an international film festival he attended.
This was because he compared the welcome he got to that of two other Filipino actors, who were greeted by screaming fans, complete with banners.
At the time, the two celebs had a TV series that was airing in that country, hence the louder and warmer-than-expected reaction.
To get even at his producers, PP locked himself up in his hotel room and refused all invitations to speak with members of the international media that night.
