MANILA, Philippines – Actress Angel Locsin proves that she is truly an “angel” when she fulfilled her promise to grant scholarships to 31 deserving students – her way of thank her showbiz career supporters.
Angel expressed gratitude to fans who have been supporting her throughout her career.
“Thank you to all my 5.5M Instagram and 11M Twitter followers for being there since the beginning, through all the challenges and milestones,” she said in an Instagram post Wednesday.
“As promised, when we reached 5M on IG, I would like to share with you this simple celebration of helping 31 scholars through schooling,” she added.
Angel accompanied her post with a photo collage of her scholars.
“I believe that education is one of the best gifts we can share to others and that empowered individuals can help shape a bright future,” she pointed out.
It is no secret that the “General’s Daughter” star truly has a heart to help.
Angel previously extended assistance to flood victims by distributing relief goods. She likewise aided displaced Marawi City residents by distributing food packs and school supplies, among others.
