Without public announcement, actress Angel Locsin headed to Marawi with volunteer group Rural Missionaries of the Philippines to visit evacuation centers and distribute relief goods.
She has taken to Instagram to share photos of the now war-torn city, calling for peace and aid:

The “Darna” actress also took time to donate blood at a Red Cross:
Social Welfare secretary Judy Taguiwalo expressed her gratitude to the 32-year-old actress for her volunteering efforts:
