Ely Buendia quashes Eraserheads reunion concert rumor

MANILA, Philippines — Ely Buendia has denied rumors of an Eraserheads reunion concert, saying he is not aware of it happening this year or in the future.

“For the record, I am not aware of any reunions happening this year or any time in the future,” Buendia said Tuesday in a tweet.

The statement came after he asked his followers if they were victimized by a scam promising a VIP ticket for a supposed Eraserheads reunion concert.

“I heard there’s a scam going around for an eheads reunion concert promising VIP tickets for 75k. Have you been victimized?” Buendia said.

Last year, there were also rumors about a reunion during the UAAP men’s basketball finals between University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University.
